The Lodge at Breckenridge | Keri & Dylan

Keri and Dylan celebrated their wedding day with early spring mountain vibes at the Inn at Breckenridge. The day dawned bright and sunny and painted a beautiful backdrop of ski slopes for their first look on the Inn’s famous deck. The wedding party–ever full of fun and happy vibes–came with us to a nearby trail for some beautiful photos before the ceremony began. In true Colorado fashion, a snowstorm made an appearance right as their ceremony was getting underway and everyone reveled in the magic of the moment as they watched on. One of the most heartwarming moments of their ceremony was when Keri said vows to Killian, Dylan’s son. It was clear he adored her and she, him, and the beautiful moment was a great reminder of how powerful love can be.

Though on the smaller side, their guests were energetic and full of joy for the couple. Their friends and family helped with all of the decorations, Keri’s mom tailored her gown’s bustle, and there was a most delicious looking (and smelling) cookie table for dessert and a vintage shot ski that made an appearance (is it even a ski country wedding without one?!). I think my favorite detail though was a small Sammy Sosa figurine that made an appearance in Keri’s bouquet and then magically appeared at different spots around the wedding the rest of the night. She told me it was an old joke between her and her dad…somehow without even really being Cubs fans, this little figurine has been bopping between the two of them as a child. They love to surprise each other with it in different places.

The reception offered more sweet and sentimental moments with all of the special dances (including a stepmom/stepson dance) and a wild fox making an appearance in the audience to watch! The DJ got the party started and the night of good food and good music had everyone enjoying dancing the night away.
