The Lodge at Breckenridge Fall Wedding | Katie & Sam

Katie and Sam’s love and respect for each other was a vibe that permeated the day. It was truly touching to listen to each other speak about one another with pure joy and love in their heart. They met at work and discovered they (as Katie says) “shared all the same values about everything that matters” and both thought the other was super cute. After a first “date” that Sam thought was a date, but Katie didn’t realize was a date (ha ha!) they began to dig deeper and realize that there was something special happening. After a bout of long distance due to work obligations, they both realized just how big of a hole was left without being in the presence of each other every day and came to the realization at the same time that they were absolutely meant to be.

The mountains hold a special place in their hearts so they decided The Lodge at Breckenridge and their gorgeous wedding deck was the perfect spot for their vows. Surrounded by the love of their family and friends they were married by Katie’s other brother in a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony on a blue-bird Fall day. Their whole family got involved in decorations and planning to ensure they felt the love and support from everyone.

The night ended with a light wand send off that was the perfect end to a wonderfully romantic wedding day.
