Proposal ideas when you are ready to pop the question.

You are ready to ask your partner to spend the rest of their life with you. But you want to do it in a way that will surprise them and be able to share your story with others of how you made it happen. One of my favorite ways to capture this moment is to hide out and photograph the big moment as it happens. Many people like to just be in the moment privately but capture it to cherish forever. Whatever way you choose, it will be beautiful because it is something special you will always remember.

A surprise proposal from a location that has a special meaning to both of you. Hopefully this will evoke emotions for you and your partner. A beach, a hike or a street you held hands while laughing and smiling together.

A special memory or a trip to a location you both enjoyed together. Maybe a weekend camping trip, another adventure to a city you traveled together before. Reliving a fun trip can be a great way to propose. We have quite a few couples that will propose on the ski slopes which is simple, fun and surprising if you and your partner enjoy a day on the slopes.

The place where you first met. You can keep it simple and maybe go back to where you dined together the first time or to an activity you both enjoyed. Maybe a walk through the botanical gardens or a restaurant downtown that brought you joy.

A spot that you may have driven by or heard others talk about with a special view. A location that is new to both of you can be even more exciting if it is something your partner will also enjoy.
