Mount Falcon Colorado Engagement Session | Toni & Sam

Toni and Sam couldn’t be more in love with each other. To start the session, Sam emphatically told me he is an awful smiler direct to camera but just to tell him to look at Toni and he wouldn’t be able to help but to have a “real” smile when looking at her. (Aw!) While I didn’t see him as awkward with the camera at all, it was apparent how both of them would just light up when looking at each other. They initially met when Sam came into the gym Toni was working at to sign up for a membership. She says he didn’t notice her as she got him all signed up (but her coworkers noticed she was totally smitten and playfully teased her about it). She eventually learned he was working at GNC at the time and would call the store under the ruse of looking for a particular protein powder, hoping to get him on the phone but she just kept getting the manager. She decided to go in to the store and lo and behold he was there and noticed her and like she predicted and hoped he finally noticed her and was totally smitten as well. They HAD just gotten the protein powder in and he said he couldn’t get back to the back of house to open the boxes that had arrived literally hours earlier for her. After some flirting, the rest is history and here we are! As a child, Toni had lived in Colorado for a while thanks to her family’s military connection to the area. Sam also had similar upbringings with the military and traveling around. They most recently lived in the DC area (so fun as that’s MY hometown!) and they recently moved back to the area for Toni to complete grad school at CSU. They are loving being back and hiking and exploring with their German Shepherd pup. They adore the Colorado scenery and are super excited to share it with their friends and family for their nuptials next summer.
