Jennifer + Richard | Ten Mile Station Breckenridge Wedding

Jennifer and Richard are the kind of people I search for when looking for ideal clients. Generally my clients are dog lovers, adventure lovers, off road Jeeping type of people, which Jennifer and Richard totally are all of these things, but on top of it all they are gracious and kind and just freaking giving wonderful people. From the minute I talked to these two on the phone I knew they were my people. Richard used to live in Breckenridge and they definitely would love to come back here some day. Richard knew my uncle because they used to volunteer together at a church feeding people in the community once a week. I think that alone speaks volumes to the kind of person Richard is and Jennifer is a match to be reckoned with. Just as kind and thoughtful and giving. They currently live in Chicago and visit Breckenridge often to ski or spend the summer months hiking. It came as no surprise to either of them that Breckenridge was the place  they wanted to get married. I was joking with Richard about his need for his Jeep Wrangler in Chicago to which he replied that there really was no need, it was just an excuse to get back to Colorado.

Check out Richard’s ring. It is totally an omen to the Ten Mile Range in Breckenridge and was handmade especially for him. Their bright details were definitely indicative of their bright and happy personalities. I think my favorite part of the day was when Richard sang to Jennifer. He is definitely not a singer which made it way more endearing and lovely. My first degree is in music theatre and I found it to be so super sweet. Serenading your new wife is adorable. Richard is also in construction and their plan to demolish their cake was pretty unique too. Definitely check out the cake cutting below.
