Ingrid + Don | Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding
People ask me all the time what I find so intriguing about weddings. It’s usually the same answer. Connection. It’s no secret I am all about connection on your wedding day and Ingrid and Don are a perfect example of this. This gorgeous, yet simple winter wedding was designed around one thing; their family. As soon as I met them one thing became increasingly clear; their family was more important than any detail of their day. Ingrid and Don were bringing together their 5 children and it was important to them that this is what their wedding was about. A joining of two families. It was so striking to me that their kids were involved in ever part of the day. Being from Canada and avid skiers they wanted a backdrop that would allow them to bring their families together and indulge in some carefree skiing and recreation while they were here. They couldn’t have chosen a better venue for their day and what an amazing celebration it was surrounded by all their friends and family.
