Grace & Eric’s Beaver Creek Wedding: A Day Full of Connection and Heart
Being a wedding photographer is one of the greatest privileges of my life. It’s not just about beautiful details or stunning mountain backdrops—though those are certainly part of it. What continues to inspire me, day after day, is the people. The quiet glances, the bear hugs, the tears during toasts, the subtle (and not-so-subtle) signs of how deeply connected everyone is. That’s where the real story lives.
Weddings give us a window into who people are—not just the couple, but their entire circle. You learn where they’re from, what they value, how they treat others, and why they chose this exact place and moment to make a promise to one another. If you pay close attention, the entire day becomes a reflection of their world.
Grace and Eric were a beautiful example of that.
Originally from Houston, they chose to host their wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado, where Grace’s parents have a home and where they’ve spent countless cherished moments as a family. It’s a place that holds deep meaning for them—a blend of mountain adventure and heartfelt tradition.
The two of them are the perfect mix of Southern warmth and mountain soul. Outdoorsy, grounded, and full of the kind of generosity that’s felt as much as it’s seen. Their wedding day was a seamless reflection of who they are—elegant yet unfussy, joyful yet deeply meaningful.
From the start of the day to the last dance, everything about their celebration felt intentional. Their families and friends were just as gracious and loving as they were—kind-hearted people who made the day feel like one big, welcoming gathering. Every interaction felt genuine. Every moment, sincere.
Working with couples like Grace and Eric is what keeps me in love with this work. I walk away from days like theirs feeling so honored to be a small part of something so big. These are the stories I live to tell.
Thank you, Grace and Eric, for inviting me into your world and trusting me with your memories. It was an absolute joy to witness your love in one of Colorado’s most beautiful places.
