Garden of the Gods Resort Summer Wedding | Ellie and Grant

A wedding day is always special for any couple. It is a day filled with love and joy as two people embark on a lifelong journey together. For Ellie and Grant, their wedding day was even more special since they exchanged vows amidst the breathtaking beauty of Garden of the Gods. Nestled amidst towering red rock formations and lush greenery, this natural wonderland provided the idyllic backdrop for a truly unforgettable ceremony. Indeed, nature had its own plans that day, as rain threatened to dampen spirits and thunder rumbled at the beginning of the ceremony, but nothing could stop their friends and family from celebrating with them.

In the end, the weather did not define this wedding, but instead enhanced it. The rain and lightning brought everyone together under cover for cocktail hour. Eventually, the sun came out and created one of the most spectacular scenes I have seen all year.

The Garden of the Gods has witnessed countless weddings over the years, but this one, marked by some wild weather and dazzling sunlight, will, I’m sure, be forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to be part of it.
