Emily and Aaron are a quiet couple. Loving and kind to one another. Silly and happy when surrounded by their people. They are laid back and just seemed to breathe in the day as it came. They said their vows at the top of a ski run, surrounded by the people they love the most. Witnessing them devote their lives to each other was intimate and emotional and I feel incredibly privileged to have photographed them on their wedding day. Timber Ridge is a stunning venue to begin with and we ended up with the most beautiful weather for this September wedding. The blue skies, mountain views, and mild temperatures were unbeatable. Their cowboy boots and burlap accents added to the rustic vibe of the day. Their love of the mountains was gorgeously, yet subtly incorporated in all of the details. Their wedding cake was adorned with buttercream mountains and pine trees. There were nods to double black diamond ski runs and s’mores for their guests to take home. The day was brought to a close with lots of dancing and laughter. Their wedding went off without a hitch and I feel honored to have been a part of it.
