Anna & Paul’s Oxford England Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer | Balliol College| Exeter College

Anna met Paul while she was studying abroad in the UK. When she had completed her masters degree (in Shakespeare) she had to return back to Colorado where she is from and leave Paul in England. I cannot even imagine the heart ache they must have felt as Anna boarded the plane that day. Anna worked in Colorado for a couple years and her and Paul would fly back and forth to see each other, all the while Anna had applied for a work visa from the UK government. Eventually Anna received word that her visa was approved and she could return to the UK and be with Paul again. Within about a month she packed up her life in Colorado and moved to Exeter to be with him.  The love these two feel for each other is no match for distance and obstacles. They were meant to be together and there was nothing they couldn’t overcome. When I met these two people is was easy to see the drive that they both had to be together. It was almost as though there was a force inside them pulling them together, even when they were apart. They are some of the most kind, generous people I have ever met. I was lucky enough to fly out to Oxford, England where they married at Exeter College, the campus and chapel where Paul had gone to receive his undergraduate degree. I really enjoyed meeting all of their friends and family and spending the day learning more about their journey together. I am inspired by their love and dedication for each other. If relationships like Paul and Anna’s can flourish with literally an ocean between them, all the other obstacles seem small in comparison.  I thank Paul & Anna for the reminder that love can indeed conquer all.  A huge Congratulations to the two of you and I wish you the very best on your new adventure!
