Emily & Keefe | Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding

I knew I loved these two from the minute we met for their engagement session, but we had SO MUCH FUN at their wedding day, that frankly, I want to go back and do it again. It was an excellent way to end out my busy summer season.

Emily & Keefe are some of my favorite people, and they got married at one of my very favorite venues, Spruce Mountain Ranch. If these two would have me, I’d hang out with their friends and family again in a heartbeat! To give you an idea of their personality, the moment they kissed, they had a friend bring up a step stool for Emily (She’s quite a bit shorter that Keefe. Actually, pretty much everyone is shorter than Keefe. Ha!) which got a huge laugh from the crowd. And then, during the toasts, Emily‘s dad gifted Keefe with a long running joke in the family. Years ago, when Emily & Keefe started dating Keefe spotted this amazing bear claw necklace that Emily‘s dad had made himself during his jewelry making days! He decided it was pretty much the most awesome thing ever. From that point on, it became a thing. Every Christmas, every gift from his future in-laws, Keefe would say, “Thank you so much! But I was really hoping it was the bear claw!” 😉 So low and behold, at the end of his speech to the newlyweds, Emily‘s dad gifted Keefe the bear claw necklace. I’ve never laughed so hard at a grooms facial expression. He was so stoked! Just hilarious. And at the same time, this is the same bride and groom who cried at the letters they sent each other prior to their first look. They are so perfect together.

All the tears, and laughter, and jokes, and karaoke. That’s right… karaoke reception! Which was also amazing. They are just amazing people and I can’t wait to see where life takes them.
