Leslie & Ed | Keystone Alpenglow Stube Wedding

I knew the moment we received Leslie‘s inquiry where she mentioned loving Harry Potter and being a band nerd herself, that we were going to get along.

Many brides worry about weather on their wedding day, and Leslie was no exception. With a damp grey morning and clouds hanging just on the tops of the peaks in Keystone, it was a valid concern. But I always tell my brides, there’s no use in stressing over things that are completely out of your control. And it’s true! You’re not going to change mother nature! The best thing you can do is be prepared to go with the flow and be flexible. The nice thing is, with over 300 days of sunshine in Colorado and weather that moves out just as quickly as it comes in, there is almost always a way to make your day happen the way you want if you’re flexible. Leslie handled it like a rockstar. And it turns out, the weather wasn’t even a factor once! In fact, it gave us pleasant temperatures and beautiful low hanging clouds for the ceremony, nice, even light with beautiful rich colors for photos, and an excuse to enjoy the fireplace in the evening. It was absolutely perfect! These two are a fantastic couple and they will always have a place in my heart. I will certainly be calling Ed when I finally get to tour around the UK sometime, and I know Leslie will understand when I post about reading Harry Potter for the umpteenth time.
