Best of Weddings 2016 | Sarah Roshan Wedding Photographers

As 2016 comes to a close I can’t help but look back on it and smile. 2016 has been an absolutely amazing year for us. We photographed 35 amazing couples and we couldn’t be more grateful to the lovely families that entrusted us with their day and memories. We do not take the honor lightly. So as this amazing year comes to an end we would love to reflect on our adventures and thank each and every client we worked with. Without you all we could not do what we love. We will forever treasure your trust and friendships. To 2017, may you bring so much more love and happiness. In an industry that celebrates how we love I can tell you that it never gets old. I will never grow old of the amazing passion and love to which our clients live their lives and their relationships.  So thank you, thank you, thank you, and a very Happy New Year to all!

I started this year with Mimi and Sean’s intimate snowy Breckenridge wedding at a private home. 

I loved Liz and Josh’s Copper Mountain snowy winter wedding.
On a super snowy winter day in Breckenridge Julianna & Stephen were married at a private house with an intimate ceremony followed by my first ever sliegh ride. It was 6 degrees out but it was still fun! 🙂 Emmy and Andy had an intimate elopement at Sapphire Point on a chilly day in January photographed by my partner photographer Chelsy. Ileen & Steve had a small ceremony in a chapel in Breckenridge. Brenda & Doyle had a small elopement and then photos in Breckenrdige. I went to High School with Susan. It was such an honor to photograph her and Tim’s intimate elopement on Boreas Pass in Breckenridge.
Dria & Blaine had an elopement in Boulder at a family friend’s cabin. Lauren and Clinton had the perfect winter wedding at Sevens and Mountain Thunder Lodge in Breckenridge ColoradoMichelle and Matt were surprised by a late April snowstorm for their wedding in DenverWhen Sam & Kyle were surprised to learn they could no longer have their ceremony where they had planned they found this spot. I think it was a good compromise.
Jordan & Chase had an absolutely stunning ceremony and elopement at the Little Nell on top of Aspen Mountain.
Jamie & David’s stunning Keystone Timber Ridge wedding was a rainy masterpiece. It cleared up just in time for their ceremony.
Kristen & Matt’s rainy day wedding was one for the books. After flipping their cocktail hour with the ceremony they were able to get married outside at Ten Mile Station just like Kristen wanted!
Richard and Jen are no stranger to adventure. We took them, their dog Tonka and our cameras up to the top of Peak 9 in Breckenridge during their 10 Mile Station wedding. Asha & Darren had a beautiful Indian and American ceremony at The Cherokee Ranch and Castle in Sedalia. Photographed by my partner photographer Savannah. Julianne & Bobby elected to hop on top of a chair lift for their bride and groom portraits at the top of a very sunny Peak 8 in Breckenridge, followed by their ceremony and reception at Sevens. Cristin & Cody had a small intimate ceremony in the back yard of a private home in Breckenridge. We followed it up by traveling to the top of Peak 9 for Bride and Groom portraits. My childhood best friend Liz and love of her life Jim had a small wedding in their backyard in Denver. Sherlyn and Kevin had a small intimate wedding at a private residence in Breckenridge followed by a lovely bride and groom session on Lake Dillon. Sarah and Dave’s wedding was delayed for about 45 minutes while we withstood hail and rain and the intire groomsman party was stuck on the first gondola due to a lightning delay. It all worked out though because we ended up with a stunning ceremony and this…Emily and Aaron had a beautiful ceremony at Timber Ridge in Keystone photographed by my partner photographer Chelsy. Joey & Jennifer flipped their cocktail hour and waited our torrential downpouring rain at Devil’s Thumb but it was aboslutely worth the wait because in Colorado if you don’t like the weather wait 10 minute… or an hour.
Allyson and AJ had an intimate ceremony with just them and their immidiate family at The Westin Riverfront Beaver Creek followed by a romantic dinner at The Chautaux in Beaver Creek. A great start to our fall weddings. My partner photographer Brooke photographed Shelby and Charlie’s stunning Downtown Denver wedding at the Brown Palace.
Maren & David had an absolutely stunning day in Copper Mountain with my partner photographer Haley. Shana & Matt had their wedding at Mountain Thunder Lodge in Breckenridge. Photographed by my partner photographer Savannah. Hayley & Justin rented an amzing property in Silverthorne and had their wedding in the peak of fall aspens. Jessica & Brianna had a gorgeous ceremony on Grand Lake in October. Perfect day with perfect weather. Christy & Kevin had a laid back ceremony at Pastures of Plenty in Boulder. Photographed by my partner photographer Chelsy.
Kelsy and Tom rented a huge house for them and all of their family and were married in Breckenridge. Tatiana & Blake decided to elope in the backyard of their Denver home by my partner photographer Chris. Raphael and Florence never had an actual wedding. After being married for 50 years they decided to go all out and have the wedding of their dreams. 600 guests and their amazing family.  Lorena & Brian withstood absolutely dumping snow and still held their ceremony outside in this mid December wedding. Who said Texans aren’t tough?
