Chase & Jordan | Little Nell Aspen Wedding Deck Elopement

When I first talked to Jordan about her wedding there were three things that were important to her, an intimate ceremony, fabulous flowers, and amazing photos. I am fairly certain we accomplished all those things.

There may not be a more majestic and romantic spot in Colorado than the Aspen wedding deck. It is the height of elegance and classiness combined with the laid back feel of the Colorado mountains. A prefect spot for an elopement. Jordan and Chase’s day was exactly what she wanted. No stress, gorgeous flowers and lots of photos. Jordan and Chase really compliment each other so well. Chase’s sarcasm and laid back vibe with Jordan’s wit and smile that makes him melt. We spent the day laughing and smiling. Their genuine love for each other was contagious.

There’s something special and raw about elopements. Don’t get me wrong I love the big weddings with lots of guests and families and the party. But there is something pure and amazing about two people and a few friends getting together on a beautiful mountain top and it’s about their vows and their connection. I’ve considered doing only elopements, I love them so much but in the end as long as I am outdoors I am pretty happy. I will gladly take a gondola to work any day of the week.

The morning of this wedding I drove up through Independence pass and got out at the top. A good excuse to walk around at 12000 feet. If you have never done Aspen in the spring time it is 100% worth it. It is cool, the peaks are covered in snow, and the mud is gone. June is one of my favorite months in the Colorado mountains.
