Sarah + Dave | Engaged

I watched one of my favorite musicals (Fantastiks) of all time just last week and there is a line that Luisa says “I want to let my hair down and go swimming in a stream.” After thinking about it for a while I think the reason that Luisa is one of my favorite characters is because she is carefree. Her view on the world is exactly how I wish to see the world. She doesn’t care if people think she is crazy for wearing her mother’s necklace, she is blind to the world and how harsh it can be. She sees the world and all of it is beautiful and it is exciting and lovely.

I imagine that this is how Sarah and Dave see our world, so when they asked me if they could walk barefoot through the stream I was 110% on board at their engagement session. They love passionately, live freely, and Sarah is even walking down the isle in her Chacos (a little something we have in common, as I would live in my Chacos if it wasn’t cold 4 months of the year). I cannot even tell you how excited I am that these two found me to be their photographers. I love them, everything about them, and can’t wait for their wedding at Granby Ranch in July!
