From the moment I first met Priya and Rahul, I could tell their wedding day was going to be something truly special. Kind, grounded, and full of warmth, these two brought a sense of ease and joy to everyone around them. It’s no surprise they’re both doctors — you could feel their compassion in every interaction, not just with each other, but with every guest who came to celebrate with them.
Their June wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch, one of Colorado’s most beautiful venues, was the perfect blend of love, tradition, and incredible celebration. Set against wide-open skies and rolling hills, their day was a vibrant reflection of their relationship — full of color, laughter, energy, and deep connection.
Priya was one of the most joyful brides I’ve ever photographed. From the moment the day began, her smile never left her face — and her happiness was completely contagious. You could feel the excitement buzzing in the air from the very first moments of getting ready through the final songs of the night. Rahul, equally grounded and kind, matched her energy every step of the way, and together they created an atmosphere where everyone felt like part of something truly meaningful.
One of my favorite moments of the day was Rahul’s baraat. Instead of the traditional horse, he made his entrance in a sleek Lamborghini — and the crowd absolutely loved it. It was such a fun and memorable way to kick off the celebration.
Spruce Mountain Ranch offered a stunning backdrop for their Indian wedding celebration, combining rustic Colorado charm with elegant outdoor beauty. Every detail — from the colorful ceremony traditions to the beautifully decorated reception space — felt personal and intentional. It’s always amazing to see how cultural traditions and a couple’s unique style can come together to create something so meaningful and unforgettable.
And then there was the dancing. If you’ve never experienced a South Asian wedding reception, it’s something magical. The dance floor came alive the second the music started and stayed packed all night long. The energy wasn’t just coming from Priya and Rahul (although they led the way with their incredible joy!) — it was everyone. Family, friends, and even the littlest guests were out there celebrating with everything they had. It was a beautiful, vibrant expression of love and community that felt impossible not to get swept up in.
Being their wedding photographer was such an honor. Days like this are a reminder of why I love what I do — capturing real moments, real joy, and celebrations that feel as heartfelt and unforgettable as the couples themselves.
