Arapahoe Basin Snowboard and Skiing Winter Wedding | Denise & Mike

Denise used to live in the Breckenridge area. When they decided where they were going to get married they landed on A Basin because it celebrated their love for snowboarding and skiing and the Colorado mountains. Denise wanted to walk down the aisle from the chair lift, get married, and then head down the mountain. I will say the logistics of this while on skies as a photographer really do have to be planned out. I was one chair ahead of her and I skied over to the Black Mountain Lodge stepped out of my bindings and started shooting all while still in my ski boots. I was laughing at myself running down the aisle in ski boots clunking all the way, trying to make sure I captured the ever important first time a couple sees each other down the aisle. It worked out perfectly though and after the ceremony was done they walked down the aisle and immediately hopped on their snowboard and skies. We skied down the mountain a few times and then Denise asked if they could just “shred”. “Have at it, it’s your wedding day.”
