Why doesn't Sarah photograph newborns?
Over time I found that I wasn't great at it and there were a lot of other people who were much better. There a lot of things that are very specific to newborns such as the props and specific poses you have to have. I ultimately wasn't serving my client the very best that there was.  


Why is Chelsy any different?
She is a newborn specialist. Meaning that is her area of expertise, she knows how to get them into their squishy little baby poses safely and efficiently, has knowledge of how to prep for a newborn session, how to prep parents, and how to pose the, ultimately giving your family the best newborn photos to cherish forever. I call her the newborn whisperer and I wanted to still serve my past clients in the the best way possible. Chelsy is without a doubt the best newborn photographer I know. We are blessed that she works directly with my clients. 

Can we chat with Chelsy before we book?
Absolutely, much like wedding photography, our relationship is built on trust and we find that trust is best served by connection. Fill out our contact form and we are happy to set up a time for you and Chelsy to chat. 

When is the best time to photograph a newborn?
6-10 days after birth is the most optimal time to photograph a newborn. After 10 days they start to lose what is called their womb memory and the sleepy squishy baby photos are much harder to accomplish.

Fill out the contact form below. In the notes let us know when you are due and which package below you are interested in. We will get back to you as soon as possible and get you on Chelsy's schedule. Chelsy tends to book newborn sessions way in advance so as soon as you know you will want newborn photos please make sure you book as she only accepts 4 babies per month.
